"To start off, I believe I have taken away from this Challenge a wealth of knowledge that overwhelms me, excites me and makes me want to learn more! I will be forever grateful to you and your team! It feels good knowing I CAN take better care of myself, passing on it on to my daughters, which will only help them make better choices for themselves too. It is as though you have taught us to remove the weight (literally) of impurity that has kept us down for so long. Although we are taking baby steps on our own, we are moving in the right direction. It is very exciting for me/us! I think what I like about going to the classes was just the fact I was learning more and more that seemed so difficult before that is really easy. Every time I stepped into class I felt recharged that "I can do this"! I do like the workbook and the emails because I feel I have excellent resources at my fingertips. By the end of the challenge, I have lost 15 lbs. and have decreased my insulin intake by half. My recent visit to the doctor proved to be good, with my lab work looking like it belonged to a healthy 40 something year old woman instead of one with a chronic disease for 20 years....when people asked me about the challenge at work, they felt my enthusiasm and expressed how happy they were for me, noticing the changes I've made. "When I first walked into The Green Boheme I was just hoping to find a place that I could come to on lunch that would give me some healthier options. What I didn't realize at that first lunch was how much my life would change. I spent the next two weeks visiting for lunch everyday.
